Bessie's vintage

Hello and welcome back
I have been very busy writing, getting published, travelling and having some huge adventures.
I found a new job on my beloved Humber Street, started writing for three magazines and am waiting to go away to The South Of France for a few weeks.

Until then though, I'd like to talk about The lovely lady that is Bessies Vintage.

Don't say who, the lady behind the brand is a total joy.
By the way, she's a new found friend.
I came across Debbie AKA Bessies Vinatge via Instagram

Debbies selective vintage eye is a magical throwback for me.
Look, I am at heart a HU5 girl, if you know me you know I love, I hoard and I collect Vintage everything.
Debbie's beautiful eye casts me back to a shop long gone from Princes Ave's Polly Anna.
Don't be
GREEN WITH ENVY
though darling
those days were good, they were great.
Bessie's Vintage brings it all back!

I invited Bessie's vintage to my place and she brought a HAUL of goodies.

Debbie couldn't wait to show me the box and I couldn't wait to see what was in it.

Crates are all the rage right now so look at this little delight for eggs.

We all know a QUEEN who'd love this for their bathroom to hang there gown on

This vintage flour dredger could have you whipping up a cake or two like Nigella Lawson
Be a devil, make the Devils cake with it.

Debbie has a keen eye for all things up and coming. The letters are divine, they could be painted or left totally naked.

Lighting has always been a trend there are so many choices out there Bessie's stocks many great alternates

You can view Beesie's Vintage on Facebook

I couldn't help shoot this
Led, neon style metal

in my very own boudoir such a fitting place for something, sensual, seductive and utterly in keeping.
There's even a news letter for when you need to purge and indulge

Stary nights star light

There's a lovely little gift wrapping service!
Now that's a service I want.

I have a huge admiration for Debbie, this is her full-time job. As a fellow self-employed lady, I know Debbie's plight and how much hard work it is. It's a dedication to doing what you love, making it work and working tirelessly because you just love it that much.

The morning after the night before, testing some Korean facial products. Needless to say, it worked, my skin is plump (I must admit I don't have deep wrinkles actually I don't have any) but the product I tested was non-evasive, delicate and the effects was I would buy it for an every other week pick me up

Okay, okay I may have changed base on my place to go on a Sunday morning.
I have a sense of guilt over that, I love Harry's it's a blessed space but
Zoo, Newland Avenue
Is a walk away for this HU5 girl and I love rocking up for a cuppa, sitting in peace knowing my place is a five minute sunny walk away.

Knew it and so did you

We all know a messy chef

I have an infinitive love for gelato and ice cream
Yes, you read right gelato and ice cream
I have had both far and wide all over the world
Upon having a foodie conversation
(very normal in my world)
I was told about
Zachary's
Of course, an eager friend took me, I have to say this far out ways any other in Hull
Yes I said it and it's true, not only is it very very pretty.
Matching the famous Harrods parlor (Yes I have been and it was divine) even dare I say my favorite and adored Fortnum and Masion
(forgive me F&M you have my heart)
This is a pure delight, devoted to splendid decor high back stools, studded and glorious.
Padded and sumptuous seating built in with ever so pretty lighting. Zachary's has no match, the blueberry frozen yoghurt was not only crisp, sweet, generously served it was deep in flavour as well as colour.
I normally opt for a chocolate anything, through sheer unwilling and devout love for it but this was a very fair trade and now I want more!

Feet dangling like a child, after all, doesn't ice cream just take you back to that time and feeling?

I work with fish most days, I never home cook fish which is crazy.
This is oven baked haddock
with a fresh mango, chipotle hot salsa
DWELL
smashing design every time
Now 'N then we all need to laugh
COS gauffing (mainly that word)
is for w@nkers, remember that the urban dictonary can make you sound like a total shitter
