Greens,red onions and garlic fried lightly with salt pepper and extra virgin oil

Yesterdays roast chicken all the meat taken off the bones.

The bones put into water with salt pepper and thyme.

 

Carrot and potato meant for mash part boiled.

Red peppers,chilli flakes and coriander seeds.
Simmer the stock in the pan and add to the veg cook out for at least three hours in a slow cooker.
Jacks with apple and black treacle

Finally a love heart on an apple bought by my partner for me.

Rick Steins Cafe Padstow,Cornwall England.
You might assume it would be to pricey given the name and location.
You may be under the illusion that only certain types of people go in and dine and that you may be priced out of a lovely meal.
Well actually we fell upon Ricks Cafe Bed and Breakfast we looked through the quaint windows with the lovely fairs of sea side lovelies and realised how nice it is of course we knew it would be.
So we went in lots of lovely colours cushions and suitably comfortable tables.
The staff was very polite and paid lots of attention to us which is nice Ricks has always been a dream of mine that I would eat where he has cooked.
Lunch was perfect the surroundings staff and other customers made the meal exactly what we needed to kick start of vintage vacation.

I love my bed along side a photo taken by a lovely friend of mine Barry Sellers.The photo next to the bed is of a band stand in winter in a city park I have always gone to sins I was a child.
Roses from a lovely local shop called Woods Pine I am fortunate enough to know the people who own it more so the lovely lady and have a lot of their products.
My dinning table and chairs a lovely French style mirror shelves a chair and all the nick nacks you could imagine.

Good Morning foodista's 
How are we all?
Yesterday was not just busy it brought back so many childhood memories of Cornwall.
Discovering places with my partner he has never been to but I have is wondrous because I got that tingle of knowing I had been on these streets and ran along them playing as a child.
Eating the Cornish ice-creams and diving into pasties with my dad whilst he sat and watched me happily eat.

Cornwall has my heart where it wants it... right in it's beautiful palm I am like the milk that makes the butter here.It gives me substance and it gives me a feeling of being whole.

Yesterday we went to so many places Penzance,Lands end,Mousehole,Watergate bay Mawgan porth where we stay for the week and much much more.

The Cornish Hen Penzance,Cornwall... Amongst the high streets which I was not in favour of due to being very very commercial there was the gem!

This deli was not only brimming with fine local produce the staff was to kind tasting things like beets ground down with garlic and sour cream!
Coffees,pastries and then taking these cute eggs.
Thank you Cornish Hen we will be back I hope you flourish and feed the whole world x x x
