Happy world happiness day!

Yesterday was such a busy day....
Picking up flowers for a friends birthday of course they came from my fave local florist https://www.facebook.com/EdenFloralBoutique?fref=ts Then to lunch just me and her starting of at Wagons https://www.facebook.com/CoffeeOnTheWagon?fref=ts.

Eden is situated on the busy Newland Avenue Hull on the corner of Sharp Street which has has alot of history.

I met the writer of the Sharp Street book and he signed and gave me a copy of his book early last year here is a link so you can buy it yourself

Wagons is a nostalgic quirky one off coffee bar an array of tables and chairs with vintage wear on the wall and locals drinking.I felt very at home sat in Wagons my friend turned up and I giggled she was looking all over at everything and no doubt thought "yep this is about right for Sydell" Of course she would be right I felt right at home.

I gave her flowers some non alcoholic champers and a lovely silver love heart charm after we had dinned out last Saturday night with her friends... I could say our as I know my fellow dinners but they are ladies I see when I see my friend.A lovely set of ladies actually I enjoy seeing them and although I do not see them often it's always great to catch up

Then I had to go to the city something I try not to do it feels quite disjointed to where I live like another world. It's not that I do not like the city I just feel no need to go there.

I got home and after starting my red velvet cake and the sponge done i made the cream cheese and white chocolate frosting and decorated it.

Here is the outcome

After leaving the house I went to a meeting at Artlink

For a festival and talks about it

A great meeting lots of ideas and more to come actually I look forward to it.Quite interesting and something I look forward to being part of!

Then to dinner Ade came to pick me up and we went to

They never fail to please us... It was quite steady people wise and the food was served nicely and fast tapas is not only delicious morsels but gems packed with beauty!

The Spanish do it so well... Celebrating life in all it's glory El Toro is hopefully here to stay.

Then home after a very very busy day we took it easy chatted watched some tv and went to bed.
