We all have artists we like a year or so ago I came across a lady who was very different.

I love colour and a certain vibe I guess feeling emotion and bags of attitude.

Her name is Sarah Hickey she is a true inspiration to me.

I often see her updates on Facebook and admire her work although I have only had the most basic of interaction with her because well I always assume people to be too busy or that I am just that smaller person that no-one would bother with.

I felt people might like to know some of the things I like.

Sarah seems to really have a detailed style about her work with a edge of glamour and grace about her and her work.

I imagine her to be a modest lady actually one with style and a very natural approach to life.

When I see her work I feel utterly in love with it it's not like you could mistake it for anything else!

I am not trying to flatter her with this on my blog it's the bold truth she has a very rare talent and woman to woman I applaud that.A recent profile photo of her shows you this.I really did not need to pour my heart out about her but it's like I feel I need to.

I do adore how Sarah is at one with her work.

Just look at all the colour, the life and the ease she is at!

I aspire to be so strong and to bloom with creative genes like her.

Of course we all have idols and such Sarah's art breaths fresh air to what I have seen and more than likely will see in the future.

If you'd like to see more about Sarah and her work more follow the link below.

I hope you all enjoy her work much like I do.

I do like a nice dress.... I wear a dress a lot actually last summer I bought a stunning dress which is a navy silk and has flowers on the sides and bottom for my holidays.

So when I saw this Vogue photo I was quite shocked that I would have something in line with this years fashion...

http://www.vogue.co.uk/news/2014/1/27/dolce--gabbana-alta-moda-collection-2014-preview

I also have a stunning pair of Dolce' & Gabbana glasses they are quite bling tastic though...

I am not a huge fashion follower though if it looks nice and feels right I wear it I have varied tastes in cloths and on things in general however it is nice to happen to have something that is following a trend.

Ginger Lovelle is a local Burlesque dancer From hull and here is a great link to an article written by her.

Me and my partner have seen her perform and loved it... She has a wonderful local presence and is a very very talented lady.

The kitchen cupboard never looked so pretty Cath Kidston made a new and exciting impact in The Early Bird Eater house and tea tastes better when drinking with Kidston....

I do love messaging my wonderful partner during the day in the week.... From the moment I met Adrian I fell in love with him we arranged to meet in a local bar and he touched my shoulder and there it started the man of my dreams the hero a lady waits for.I am blessed he gives me joy and shows me the beauty of love with and taking me around the world sharing the most stunning sites a heart could take.

We went out into the the countryside and was camping last year... yes I camp I actually glamp quite well we have a lot of nice things for home comforts aswell as your run of the mill things.

We booked a place that was actually really quite splendid and there was a duck pond a ducklings next to our tent aswell as lovely pubs and the most jaw dropping beach and view you had ever seen.

I really struggle to let you know where because it is I'll just say in North Yorkshire.

We drove up and neither of us had been there before and all around pretty cottages boats a beach cliffs and a an ever so pretty tea shop/cafe and huge steps down to the sea.

People sat and looked... at first you are just like "this is normal" then you sit on the step it took my breath away.My partner could tell I felt like I was in heaven i took some of my ice cream and just sat and a tear fell from my eye here we was in love looking over this beach.Together in love and in a most utterly beautiful place.

I can't bring myself to say where sorry x x x
The roses are now in my new vintage rose bowl to make way for my wonderful sister in laws gift if tulips she gave me at the celebrations yesterday.... Thank you Sarah x x x

Ladies love tea and I did some work last year doing talks to the public about food blogging with Yorkshire tea and their film festival. I was proud to work with Yorkshire tea and Hulls very own Creator College. Here are some photos of the event and the Hulls Yum food festival and the days surrounding it.

I love finding new page and sites I get alot of people recommending lots of things or sending me messages ideas and asking questions about varied things. There are alot of cake pages/profiles/sites etc etc and not all are good some are very hit and miss.Alot are more about how it look rather than taste and look both are equally important... You should not pay for a quality cake just for look and have a dry bad tasting cake.

Always ask to taste a cake that you intend to spend a lot of money on and ask to see photos of their past work.Social media is a great forum for what people think of peoples work.

Today I came across a page on facebook and a cake which has been made to a very high standard you can tell by the colours image and overall that it has detail and actually is quite different from what we see at the moment.

Hello and welcome to a new week!

I have started my new week of by seeing it in with a lovely friend of mine.

Me and my partner love to travel and we also like to sit and talk about where we would like to go around the world.

We have been talking about Venice even the word is nice isn't it we have found a place to stay so hopefully in May we will go.

Venice has alot to give of course the sunshine beaches and culture are just a few of the things we will sample. It says it will be seventeen degrees plus and there is lots of lovely places to see and things to do.

I am yet to see all there is my partner is great at finding out about all these things...

I would imagine Venice to be romantic not unlike Barcelona when you turn a corner on a street and your jaw drops because you did not think it would be prettier and it is.That and the religious context of Venice.

There religious art is drowning in gold I a drawn to it actually Barcelona and Paris do that well in their churches.

I really look forward to talking it over tonight and hopefully booking it.

Hello Lovely foodies!

Todays trip to Leeds was wonderful. There is a place called Harvey Nicholas that I always like to go to when in Leeds here is a link to the department store.

http://www.harveynichols.com/stores/leeds?utm_source=Solus&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Solus_HarpersBazaarBeauty_110914_LDS

You can shop dine and have sushi.... I bought some gifts and sampled some of their fine cocktails today.

Valentines is coming as is my partners birthday so I made sure I stocked up for both...

Leeds seems to grow each time I go actually I do love how so many people are fashionable and make such a wonderful effort when dressing.

At home people dress nicely but Leeds seems to pick the pace up on a fashion front it is a given that they have better shops to hand actually it can be really nice to see the catwalk fashion right there in front of you.

I really have a gripe about "the boyfriend jacket" It's huge on women and looks over sized yes of course I know that's the intention but why?Really?Girls seem to get thinner by the day and then put a jacket on that hides that.It does not make sense to me at all.Never the less they are stylish and I admire that.

Leeds was a great day, will I go back soon very soon!
More of the beautiful Leeds victorian quarter.

Hello Foodies.....

Today I head to Leeds to visit friends.Leeds is a huge city full of culture music and lots of great things to do!

I personally adore Leeds and have being visiting for years but today I decided to take the bus rather than the train sometimes it's nice to just sit and take it easy after such a busy week I really need some time out to just be.

I love the galleries and shops there are so many different places where you can have coffee and eat.

Here are some photos of my Leeds adventures!

Every lady loves red lipstick right?

This iconic photo was the very first written photo of my brand name written in Leeds art gallery.

Thai soup The Early Bird Eater way.
left to right

Flat leaf parsley, red onion, thai aubergine, chilli + scotch bonnet chilli, garlic and ginger at the back is spring onionthe bottle is squid sauce very important! you can find this is the supermarket but ut is way too expensive there!go to a chinese supermarket instead

The thai Abuergine and how it looks inside lets see how it cooks
spring onion, chillis, red onion, ginger, garlic, thai aubergine ll chopped ready to go!
slice the red onion thin the other smaller ones slice thing and small
start to fry the things you chopped on a light heat they just need to be soft not browned in colour.this is flat leaf parsley you pick it at the top at the leaf.
you need alot of this so if you buy from the supermarket buy one of those live growing ones

TOP TIP>>> keep the stem and put it in you're frezzer for other things we will cook
add the uncut parsely and put a lid on to steam a little

take the pan off the heat then add enough fish sauce to cover the bottom of the pan..maybe 1/2 cm deep and then add water that overs the ingredients
i added some noodles raw to cook in the soup,of course you do not have to add them
The end result!wow!
