Let me introduce
The House Of Rose And Brown
I first met Caroline after a vintage fair at Whitby Pavilion
I did not know who ran the fair but I knew I really liked it.
I saw an advert for another and then met Caroline.
The vintage fairs Caroline hosts are more than special.
I wanted to share with you her wonderful life.
Here is a little of what Rose & Brown Vintage
would like to share with you
Rose & Brown Vintage are well known for organising Vintage Fairs and events since 2007, and for their (now-closed) vintage boutique, The House of Rose & Brown, which kick-started the village of Saltaire's reputation as a vintage hot spot.

Who better to offer a service which solves a host of vintage dilemmas, from how to theme a party, wedding or event with a vintage twist, to how to source that Art Deco suite or original 1950's wedding dress that you've been yearning for?  Caroline Brown, the founder of Rose & Brown Vintage is offering her 7 years of experience, contacts, knowledge and vintage vision, to help those in need of vintage styling, interiors with a vintage edge and vintage fashion fixes.

Caroline says, "It can be really difficult sourcing or styling genuine vintage if you haven't got the time, contacts or know-how, and for those who want the originality, style, beauty, quirkiness or impact that vintage can bring, I'm here to help!  From photo shoots to interior design, from parties and events to one-off fashion statements, I can be your vintage fairy godmother!  I've been called a vintage doyenne in the past, with a doyenne being awoman who has a lot of experience in or knowledge about a particular subject or field, and I hope to use this to bring some vintage magic to those who want it."

will be exhibited next year.
Here is a little more about it

The Changing Face of Hull – call for participants in arts project in Hull

Led by Artist Quentin Budworth – with second photographer Rebecca Robyns. ‘The Changing Face Of Hull’ will work with people who live in Hull to explore ideas of self, city and shared identity.

The next few months bring opportunities to participate in workshops, collaborate and co-author your portrait image to create a unique video artwork. We will also be recording audio of the sittings and image making dialogue as a part of the soundtrack for the exhibition projection.
